PMFG is a holding company formed in 2008 that owns all of Peerless Mfg. Co.
Peerless is a global provider of engineered equipment for the abatement of air pollution, the removal of contaminants from gases and liquids, industrial noise control, and heat-transfer through its two business segments — Environmental Systems and Process Products. In our Environmental Systems segment, we design, engineer, manufacture and sell highly specialized environmental control systems, which are used for air pollution abatement. In our Process Products segment, we design, engineer, manufacture and sell specialized products known as "separators" or "filters," silencers, pulsation dampeners and heat exchangers. Separators are used in the cleaning of gases or liquids in piping systems, the removal of solid or liquid contaminants from combustion intake air from gas turbines or diesel engines and the removal of water from saturated steam at nuclear power plants. Silencers and pulsation dampeners reduce noise and de-couple the piping system from the pulsation source. Heat exchangers are designed to address the thermal exchange conditions for a wide range of process applications and fluid properties.
